Paul brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Dave-UK. With a distinguished 30 year career in law enforcement, serving as a Detective and Detective Sergeant with a specialisation in Serious Organised Crime investigations. Throughout his tenure, Paul held pivotal roles such as Deputy Senior Investigating Officer (S.I.O) and Officer In the Case (O.I.C), demonstrating exceptional leadership and investigative skills.
As the former head of department of the Visual Evidence Retrieval and Analysis (VERA) Unit within the Greater Manchester Police's Serious Crime Division, Paul led a team of investigators responsible for the successful recovery, analysis, and presentation of CCTV evidence in complex investigations. His twelve years at the helm of this unit underscore his deep understanding of investigative processes and meticulous attention to detail.
Paul is a National Crime Agency (N.C.A) Accredited Investigator at P.I.P Level 2, specialising in Serious & Complex Investigations. He played a pivotal role in shaping GMP force policy to ensure adherence to CCTV protocols.
Responsible for spearheading and overseeing investigations with a specialized focus on CCTV utilisation, Paul has demonstrated exceptional leadership and strategic direction in this crucial area. His responsibilities encompassed various facets of CCTV management, including:

Paul has extensive experience giving evidence at Crown Court, where he has liaised with both prosecution and defence barristers. His involvement in high-profile cases, such as those involving Dale Cregan, Stephen Seddon, and Mark 'Ice man' Fellows, underscores his ability to deliver justice and secure convictions in the most challenging circumstances.

Martyn is an accomplished Police expert witness in the identification of suspect and stolen motor vehicles. Before his retirement in March 2022, Martyn had completed 34 years of continuous service both as a Police Officer and Police staff for Greater Manchester Police (GMP).
His background as an authorised Forensic Vehicle Examiner has enabled him to acquire and develop a unique in-depth knowledge and skill set for identifying and comparing video imagery of all types of vehicles. Martyn has received multiple awards and recognition received a National Award recognised by the NPCC Homicide Working Group, the panel unanimously voted for Martyn to receive this for his services to policing and for outstanding investigative practice.

This is the first time the National Police Chiefs' Council Homicide Working Group has bestowed such an award on a GMP staff member, and it enhances our own reputation as being at the forefront of homicide investigation, but more importantly, emphasises Martyn's invaluable contribution to making our communities safer."
Over his long-distinguished career, he has worked on countless high-profile murder and complex investigations. Operation Leopard, the trials of Paul Massey, John Kinsella, the Hickey family, and Jamie Rothwell. He has delivered critical evidence in court across each investigation as an expert witness. Judge Popperwell made specific reference to this work at the conclusion of the sentencing and awarded him with a Judge commendation. Mr Greaney QC, who prosecuted the case confirming his work was 'critical' to the success of this extremely difficult and complex set of investigations.
Sandy had a long-distinguished career in IT Marketing specifically for corporate global recognised brands such as Apple,’ Seagate and Cisco.
After traveling the world and committing herself to her career, Sandy had to take a step back after the birth of our son. 12 years ago, Sandy took on the challenge to start her own business ‘Top Notch P. A Solutions,’ offering virtual personal assistance to small business owners & entrepreneurs.
Sandy’s role within ‘Dave UK’ is to provide her expert PA skills to support both Paul and Martyn using her vast admin experience with PA & IT support, whilst also being a successful company owner.
